DETERT RESIGNS
Coach Lamar Detert has resigned at Rogers. The Royals were 5AAA champs and finished in 3rd place in the AAA state tournament. He had a 104-43 record in five seasons at Rogers. From the Elk River Star News.

MORE RESIGNATIONS
Scott VanDerMillen has resigned at Mitchell, SD. He also was the Athletic Director. From the Mitchell Daily Republic.

Dave Johnson has resigned at DePere, WI. He is headed to UW Green Bay to be an assistant. From WBAY.

CANCELLATION
Hankinson School Board President David Muehler called off Monday’s special board meeting requested by one of the parents in regards to the girls basketball team there. From the Fargo Forum.

SEASON SWITCH
South Dakota says it was right to switch over from fall to winter. From the Sioux Falls Argus Leader.

MORE TOURNAMENTS
In MYAS action
Minnesota Thunder 19U team went 3-0 to win the tournament held at Armstrong last weekend. They beat the "Net Master" in the championship on Sunday 47 to 37.

North Tartan Crosby's team kept on rolling this weekend. In the Battle for the Dimes championship game NTC beat Wisconsin PC Badgers 15's 64-54. NTC's Overall record 9-0. Their leading scorer was Janae Burich (6-5 Roseville) averaging 12.5 ppg.

In the 12u MN Seeding tournament it was the Minnesota Suns taking the title. The U12 tournament was set up in a pool play with 5 teams competing. The Suns U12 may be the #1 seed in the National Qualifier in two weeks.
