Ohio to Boston, More Miss Basketball, 7 to Rochester, 6 Coaching Openings

OHIO TO BOSTON
The entire women's basketball staff at Ohio U is leaving for Boston College.

7 TO ROCHESTER
There are seven girls basketball players headed to Minnesota State Community College champion Rochester.
Cheslea Wand, 5-10 G Fillmore Central (a St. Kate's transfer)
Maria Gangelhoff, 5-7 G Sleepy Eye St. Mary's
Jordan Vavra, 5-9 G Cambridge Isanti
Leah Tvedt, 5-10 F/P East Central
Kayla Hiltner, 6-0 P Monticello
Lisa Kingsley, 5-10 F Rochester John Marshall
Annessa Kester, 5-7 G Chatfield
This makes 116 players in the Minnesota 2008 class that have made college basketball decisions, and 17 headed to the Community College ranks.

MORE MISS BASKETBALL
Courtney Boylan is the 2008 Minnesota Miss Basketball winner as I reported last night. The StarTribune headline used the word surprise. Even I get quoted in the St. Paul Pioneer Press. From the Chaska Herald.
